Two good friends have accused me of choosing to live my life on a higher difficulty setting. I feel that the accusation (albeit a good-natured one) may have some merit.

Comments?

I see you as unique. As for the accusations, I'll wait till I've known you longer :p

I would agree with their assessment, however I think you would be bored otherwise.

I think that sometimes you give too much of your time to persons and things that do not appreciate it. Not that I have ever done that LOL.

You are a very interesting person who does a lot of very interesting things. Only you can decide if what you are doing is the right things for who you are.

I wish you had more time to relax and/or sleep though. I am a worry wart.

think of it this way, once you play through life on hard you can come back and play through life on insane mode right?

I think you would be unhappy playing it on a lower difficultly level. You like being in places where you can do more to help people.

Hugses to you....

I do think you tend to push yourself too hard and/or lack balance between the amount of time you work and the amount of time you give to "play"

I've felt like my life has been more difficult than it could be at times. However, I have to admit, I like the challenge. I'm still alive. And easier might be boring.

I think it's more of an observation than an accusation. Really, though, would you settle for less?

I'd agree with that statement, but you seem to enjoy the challenge.

I'd also agree with others that you'd probably be bored on the easier settings.

One question - Are you happier with the challenge and resulting satisfaction that you get than what you would get if you were playing life on the easy setting?

I do think that when playing life on the hard setting, the really rough parts are even rougher, which isn't really a good thing.

Choose? Perhaps not. I think you *permit* your life to run at a higher difficulty setting. Is it worth it? That's for you to decide.

You invest yourelf for lower rewards and at higher risks than I would be willing to, but I am more breakable than you are.

Is the level of satisfaction worth the effort? Or do you set your own personal standards too high?
