Actually, for the country. The economy is one problem; the breakdown of civil discourse and meaningful political debate is another; the wholesale violation of civil rights is a third.

Let's try another analogy:

Obama is not a very good driver. He's sort of lost, and weaving a bit, but he's trying to head in a good direction.

McCain is a highly qualified driver. However, he's driving us over a cliff.

But, since I absolutely detest J McSame (traitor to his fellow veterans, among other crimes), and am very definitely against him, I'm still voting for Obama and recommending (as a private citizen of course) that others do the same.
