I have no problems with your current level of niceness.
I am not sure that with your current level of stress that there is much that you can do about the occasional stress related prickly quills. We all get them. God knows I do lol. Ask J :)
So I think stress reduction or maybe an application of the tree story could help a little.
Isn't that like asking a leopard to change its spots, or a tiger to change its stripes? ;)
Seriously, never had a problem with your level of niceness before-- if anything, you've often been perhaps too nice even in the face of blatant overwhelming provocation. I'm actually wondering who thought you needed to be nicer-- anyone I know?
Don't you usually dish out what people give you? If they're not nice to you then why should you be nice to them. I mean, you can try to be nice at first, but you have so many other things going on that I wouldn't baby it. Many hugs and you have always been nice to me.
I would suggest that you lower your stress levels by decreasing your attachment to people and things that run you ragged and try to make your head explode. However, this may not be compatible with the drewkitty OS.
Thank you for the feedback. The request to be nicer was not a work request. I am experimenting with stress management techniques which are compatible with the California Penal Code.
I was not parsing it as a work request (i.e. how to be nicer at work); rather, I imagined that if the things that make your head explode (both work and personal) had less explosive ability, your more relaxed affect would probably be perceived as "nicer".
I don't perceive you as "not nice" but rather as constantly bone-tired of the situations that make your head explode.
that within 5 or 10 minutes of being introduced to you, you announced to me yourself that you are an asshole.
now, i have to say that in my eyes, you have never been an asshole to anyone before it was provoked.
that being said, i still love you, and think you are one of the most wonderful people i have ever known to actually take responsibility of being an asshole, and living up to it all at the same time.
