I am looking for a home for rockythecat. I have done this before but I am afraid this is the last time.

His present caregiver, while taking OK care of Rocky, is a person I can no longer tolerate in my life. So if I give Rocky to this person, odds are I will never see Rocky again. While I am grateful for this person's past support, at present they have exhausted my patience and lost my trust.

I never wanted to have a cat on my own. This is now the 8th year I have managed to put a roof over Rocky's head. He is 14 now. My work is such that I cannot reliably take care of a cat, especially when I must travel.

This is very selfish of me - I want to see Rocky again, even if I cannot care for him myself. But I cannot continue to keep my feet in the fire for Rocky's sake.

Comments and suggestions, however unpalatable, are respectfully encouraged.

Unfortunately we already know that Arlene and Rocky don't really get on that well, plus my apartment is pretty small, and I don't have the time to offer enough attention to two cats (let alone one)-- or I'd offer.

Good luck finding a good home for Rocky though.

I have nothing useful to offer other than my sincere hopes that you find a good solution. (I'm on the wrong side of the country to offer to take him in, even if I weren't badly allergic to cats. I love 'em, but my immune system? Not so much.)

We talked about this before, feel free to call me again. You have to do what is best for Rocky and you have to be sure that he is well taken care of.

Maybe you could have out of the house visitations like they do in divorce cases. I know that is not the greatest idea but it is all I can think of right now....

Darn. I wish I could help. However, and Brianna can attest to this, Voy is a little shit. He would not like another cat (and male at that) here. Meh. Selfish cat.
