THAT is what caused all of the drama? Wow. I guess I did not miss it, I just was not watching.

The thing about attitude too is that having positive creative one enables you to find your way out of difficulties and problems instead of just accepting that life is shit and will never change. I like that part of it...

Okay, I can understand why someone would have a hissy fit, but what you experienced went above and beyond the call of sanity. Some people are not ready to read such advice.

Not knowing what the drama was about, I can understand that if someone was really down they might need encouragement rather than advice....at first.

That said, I live my life by the credo above so I cannot imagine it being considered a negative thing, except by those who tend to think negatively.

to a large extent i really hate the poor skills community. most of the people in there are just completely defeatist. to them, life is completely out of there control and it always will be. its just painful to listen to or be around it.

i just skip about 95% of everything that comes up in that community. maybe once a week or so there might be something worth reading but thats about it.

Heh. One "self harm" drama queen who threatened to cut herself after something I said got offered a fresh box of razor blades. This cutting thing is often so ... lemming like. Maybe one in ten really have the urge, the rest are copycats.
