twitch days: 19 and 20 April

drewkittyThese days in mid-April will forever be "twitch days" for security and law professionals.
Historical:
The American Revolution started 19 April 1775 at Lexington and Concord, MA. The "shot heard 'round the world" is now commemorated locally as "Patriot's Day."
On 20 April 1889, the infamous dictator and mass murderer Adolf Hitler was born. Right wing fringe groups and Neo-Nazis celebrate it as a holiday.
On Monday, April 19, 1943, the Jewish feast of Passover, over 2000 Waffen SS soldiers under the command of SS General Jürgen Stroop attacked the Jewish civilians of the Warsaw Ghetto with tanks, artillery and flame throwers. I have read the Stroop Report, his incident report of the successful conclusion of the operation. It is undeniable proof of the Holocaust. No one celebrates this day although the date is duly noted at the Holocaust Museum and by World War II historians.
Modern:
On 19 April 1993, 76 people including at least 20 children lost their lives near Waco, Texas.
On 19 April 1995, 168 people including 19 children lost their lives in the Oklahoma City truck bombing.
On 20 April 1999, twelve students and one teacher lost their lives at Columbine High School. Information here.
