I don't have the heart to do a 1 April post.

What could I do?



- Lose my place to live? Too late, did that.
- Change jobs? It'd be nice, but not quite yet. I still have thirteen months to go on my seven year sentence (long story).
- Get back together with Carol? Not funny, not fair to her, I've moved on.
- Dump Becky? Not funny, closer to that than I'd like to think.
- Get married again? Never in this world, maybe funny to others, not funny to ME.
- Go to Iraq? Given my present workload, I could sleep during the flight. Again, a slander on brave friends who are in that part of the world.
- Reconcile with my family? Three of my four parents are dead, and if Goddess is kind, I will never speak again to the fourth. Relatives, what few are left, are scattered to hell and gone and know me only through brief introduction of "that weird kid."
- Kitties? Really not funny. Only through the intercession of close friends have my cats escaped the shelter.



Speaking of kitties, please let me know if you are interested in adopting a cat or cats. A friend of mine in SoCal has ten days to place nine (9) cats. Please help! Not an April Fool.
