Let Them Eat Pork!

A friend pointed out that pork is the answer to Islamic Jihad.

My reaction, "We can't afford all the pork we pass out at home, let alone our wasteful government spending in Iraq."

That seems like a good way to stop Jihad.

However, how can we get Muslims to eat pork?

*Package it as halal beef, then inform them that they have been eating pork all of this time?

Why don't we just send all the excess pork to the Middle East.

If you are talking about pork barrels, send all that we have to the Middle East. They might benefit from it.

It's the math. Our spending on the Iraq war amounts to some tens of thousands per person per year there. Just send money and the problem goes away, so the thinking goes. I think they'll just spend it on more and possibly better ways to bomb the fuck out of us.
