The proposed bailout by the US Treasury is completely and utterly unacceptable to me as a taxpayer. It is merely bank robbery on the grandest scale.
If it is truly necessary, in your informed opinion, to forfeit seven hundred billion ($700,000,000,000) in the name of salvaging the world economy, I want the taxpayers to realize substantial value for the money.
( my minimum conditions include salary caps for involved executives, mandatory jail time for financial crooks, bankruptcy judges given the power to edit mortgages, long-term oversight by Congress and courts )
Please do all that is within your power as a United States [Senator/Representative] to resist this theft of the taxpayer. Thank you for your attention.
