What I predicted:

"- Despite amateur grandstanding, Anonymous will succeed only in pissing off San Francisco commuters, because BART Ops is too smart for #opbart to outmaneuver. #epicfail No sympathy will be gained."

What happened on the ground:

"Clearly these idiots don't even ride BART. If you only tag your Clipper at only one gate (either entrance or exit), you will have to go back through that gate the following day. When you double-tag at a single gate, you are charged the maximum possible fare. This doesn't let anyone ride for free, it forces people to pay much more than they normally would or illegally jump turnstyles.

I appreciate that there is a organized mess of a group at least trying to protest the previous violence. Unfortunately, the leadership, if any (and you know, my convention experience past Strategicon just tells me there probably isn't any) is clueless about making effective protests. Oh, gathering lots of attention, yes. They are doing well there. Actually being effective? That's another story.
