GWOT 2 - American Holocaust
GWOT 2 - American Holocaust
I finish wanding the Room. I do this every day, personally. I take a metal detector wand and I run it along all the surfaces in the Room. I am looking for cameras and listening devices.
The day I find one, or miss one, is the day I start to die horribly by torture.
Unless I make other plans.
I am doing it because Wyatt can't. His leg is missing above the knee, courtesy of a gunshot wound suffered after his site was taken over post Firecracker.
He and I talk freely in the Room. It is our safety valve, our ability to deal with the horror that has swept over our nation and our world.
But we are clinical about it. We both speak the language of nuclear warfare and of genocide. It is curiously antiseptic.
We have just mapped out the network of camps in the American West being used by Homeland to finish the killing process.
In the San Francisco Bay Area, the first moves by Homeland were disguised as disaster relief.
Across the country the story has been darker and even dirtier.
The first to die were those of Chinese ancestry. That one we all have to take the blame for. We stood by as they were murdered in mob violence or by local police. Homeland merely stirred the fire; they didn't have to lift a finger, just put out propaganda and let the locals do it all for them.
I have said that "mostly" they didn't make it to Site. This is true. But my records show that in that two days between the Firecracker and my arrival, nineteen employees - US citizens - of Chinese ancestry were 'removed' from the premises.
We own those nineteen murders.
Stalin said that a single death is a tragedy but millions of deaths are just statistics.
The US Census is now a classified document but we have offline copies of Wikipedia and hard copies of many reference publications.
Our rounded (or round eyed) guess is that over three million Americans have now been murdered by their fellow Americans.
The first step was separation. Taken away on buses.
The second step was encampment. Put them in isolated places where there are no witnesses but each other and their murderers.
The third step is simply mechanized murder, the use of human fuel to run a wheezing machine that produces bodies, then smoke.
Let's be clear. There's nothing special about the Germans that made them part of the Holocaust. They're just people. Just like us.
The Holocaust murdered Jews by preference, but a lot of other folks were caught up in the ovens.
The Homeland funnel is more catholic. Local option dictates who is swept up, and how many. Gay and transgender people in some areas (the South); black people in others (Portland!), Native Americans anywhere they are disliked, small ethnic communities guilty of nothing worse than believing in the American Dream. Suspect affinity groups, too. Roma, furries, SCA, sci fi fans, Goths, punks, skinheads, ICP, anyone who chooses to dress funny or think funny or live funny.
Any sufficiently exotic religion too. Buddhists, any group that ends with "...farian", Muslims (on a priority!), any strong moral philosophy. Jews and Christians are safe if they go along with the program. But only then.
You would think that more people would be fighting back. But Homeland's planning was diabolically clever.
All persons with prior military training, including retired veterans and the medically disabled, were drafted. All police were co-opted; any who showed the least sign of hesitation were drafted. The list of Federal Firearms Licensees (FFLs) was used to make sure that any gun shops that stayed open followed the new Homeland rules.
The rest were drafted or sidewalked; such skills are dangerous.
Some of who would have been the most dangerous were simply co
-opted into Homeland. Which is safer and more fun: fighting an insurgency against ruthless opposition, or playing pretend in an American Gestapo with great tolerance for personal eccentricities as long as "you deliver."
Wyatt and I suspect that certain politicians and leaders, mostly moderates, were put on a list to be silenced, one way or another. But we'll probably never know.
The BBC is tantalizing in its hints of what may be going on. National control zones under regional leadership, bought off or intimidated into going with the national program.
I dream of a _Red Dawn_ moment in which we raid camps and pass out truckloads of weapons to the prisoners.
Stalin again. Rifles don't do shit to armored fighting vehicles. Starving stick figures don't make good soldiers, even if they had the skills. A day or two of digging would finish them off. Hell, a decent meal without skilled nursing and IV support would kill 15% or more.
Somehow the military units left Stateside are in on the scheme. Gunning down crowds of Americans and how is in the FMs (Field Manuals) now. Unthinkable six months ago.
It is almost as though there has been a data mining effort going back decades, to sort those who would buy into a Holocaust from those who would fight it. The latter are sent to China, the former stay here.
It should not have been this easy!
The true ideology, not the propaganda, of the architects of this atrocity is not known to us. But there are disturbing hints.
The new Homeland is monocultural. Everyone is productive. Uselessness is not tolerated. "Everybody fights, no one quits." The propaganda talks about the unfit, the unworthy, the drain on our society and the planet, the need to Stand United and Win The Fight.
Some of it is textbook fascism.
But I sense a flavor of ZPG.
Zero Population Growth. The idea that there are just too many people, and that the solution to all the planet's problems is to have fewer people.
One solution is to stop making them.
Another is to unmake them.
It is in this light that we are considering the latest snippet from the Beeb.
"US occupation forces have announced a new ration card scheme in occupied China. Single men receive 1800 calories a day. Single men who can prove they have had a vasectomy receive 2800 calories a day."
An interesting gambit, incorporating both solutions.
I know the people who crafted this madness are as far beyond my reach as a landing on Mars. Our site defenses are tinker toys compared to their estates. Their guards are elite special operations troops, lavishly paid with every conceivable perk and armed with every useful piece of equipment.
I would crawl through my own spilled guts to get a single shot off at one of them.
Obviously, Homeland missed me in the initial mop up. They should have sidewalked me on a high priority, within days of the Firecracker.
